Berry spinach salad is the perfect spring and summer salad recipe – and it only takes 5 minutes to make! Fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are tossed with baby spinach, goat cheese, red onions and pecans, then drizzled with a sweet and tangy raspberry vinaigrette.

This is a great salad to pair with my Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs, Herbed Honey Mustard Chicken and Carne Asada.

Berry Spinach Salad

This is my go-to salad for an easy 5-minute salad recipe. It combines my favorite salad ingredients – spinach, berries, pecans and goat cheese – and it presents beautifully.

If you follow me on Instagram stories, it’s the spinach salad recipe I whip up most often. Who can resist those tender baby spinach leaves and juicy vibrant berries?

This salad is great for the warm weather months of spring and summer when you’re craving a light and fresh recipe. But if you’d like to add protein, you could easily toss on some shredded chicken or pulled pork for a more filling meal.

Spinach Salad with a Berry Twist

The ingredients in this berry spinach salad are farmer’s market fresh. Of course, you could use frozen berries, but if you can, take advantage of fresh berries while they’re in season. You’ll be glad you did. Here’s what’s in this salad recipe:

  • Spinach
  • Strawberries
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Red onion
  • Goat Cheese
  • Pecans

To add an extra burst of berry flavor I recommend drizzling my Raspberry Vinaigrette on top. It’s a match made in heaven with this salad. My Champagne Vinaigrette and Lemon Vinaigrette would also be wonderful salad dressing options.

This berry spinach salad is perfect for a 4th of July barbecue (it’s red, white and blue) or Labor Day party, as well a spring or summer potluck or picnic. Enjoy!

  1. Will mixed greens work ok with the salad. I dont have spinach on hand. Do I need to swap out anything if I do go with mixed greens?
